LGSBuilt designs and manufactures light-gauge steel framing, panels and structural systems in Campbell River, British Columbia, for builders, developers and modular companies.
A small team with a long steel record.
LGSBuilt brings together people who have been roll-forming, assembling and delivering cold-formed steel structures on Vancouver Island since 2019.
The team started as Struct Steel, making steel framing packages and trusses for homes and commercial buildings. It then built and delivered modular homes and commercial buildings as Supermod. LGSBuilt is the next step: a focused B2B manufacturer of framing packages, panelized assemblies, modular structure and custom prefabrication, available to any builder and not tied to one product.
A small on-site team runs fabrication and production in Campbell River. Design, drafting and project coordination are handled by remote team members.
How we got here.
Milestones from the team's work as Struct Steel and Supermod, the experience LGSBuilt is built on.
- 2019Struct Steel incorporated
Early design and engineering work on light-gauge steel building systems.
- 2020First production, Courtenay BC
First warehouse opens. Roll-forming machines are set up, and the first steel-framed homes are produced and built.
- 2021Scaling up
Multiple residential and commercial framing projects are designed, manufactured and shipped, and the first modular prototype is built.
- 2022Campbell River operations
Operations move to Campbell River and the Supermod modular brand launches.
- 2023Commercial & recognition
First commercial modular building ships. Named a Top 10 modular company.
- 2024–25Delivery and relocation
Homes deliver across BC, including a laneway home installed in one day. Operations then relocate and rebuild.
- 2025–26LGSBuilt
Focus shifts to B2B steel framing and prefabrication. Steel pallets and blocking go into production alongside framing work.

In-house framing design, shop drawings and coordination with project engineers.
